Under the hood is Pontiac’s 268 CID straight eight-cylinder engine. It is married to a Hydramatic four-speed automatic transmission and is backed by a 3.63:1 rear end.
The frame is in good condition, we have most of the trim and the original keys. This car does not run.
Competition to this Catalina Super Deluxe in 1951 included Chevrolet’s Styleline Deluxe Sport Coupe, Dodge’s Coronet Club Coupe, Hudson’s Custom Commodore Eight, Kaiser’s Deluxe Club Coupe, Mercury’s Eight Sport Coupe, Nash’s Ambassador Super Club Coupe and Oldsmobile’s Super 88 Deluxe Holiday Coupe and Plymouth’s Cambridge Club Coupe.
